Summit House Receives the President's Service Award:

The Summit House program was created to address the ever-increasing crises of women going to prison for non-violent crimes and leaving their children behind.  Summit House is the original model for programs of this type.  President Bill Clinton recognized Summit House by awarding it his President's Service Award.
